  Sarah - Assistant Reception Manager

  I joined The Belfry as a Receptionist in 2013 before progressing to a Team Leader and then 3 years later I progressed to be Assistant Front of House Manager. My biggest achievement has been progressing in my role whilst raising my two children. My favourite thing about working at the Belfry is my colleagues who I have worked with over the years and many of whom have become very good friends. The Belfry is a great place to work as it can open the door to so many opportunities and the staff discounts around the resort are brilliant. The Belfry Belief I most connect with is Better together as we spend so much time together that it’s so important to be part of a great team. Also, no two days are the same, it’s such a busy place with so much going on and it certainly isn’t boring! I’m proud to be part of such an iconic resort.

  John - Guest Services Assistant

  I joined The Belfry 5 years ago as a Guest Services Assistant and I think my biggest achievement was when I was award Belfry Hero which was totally unexpected but thoroughly appreciated. The Belfry’s greatest asset is its people. I have been very fortunate to have stayed in quality hotels all over the world and the Belfry staff take some beating. It’s what guests comment on the most and there have been a number of initiatives to show that the Belfry cares for their team. I really enjoy my interactions with the guests. I always say to new staff that this is a great place to work as you never know who is going to walk in the door….every guest has their own story which I find fascinating. You’ll succeed at The Belfry if you like talking respectfully to people and are prepared to work hard…you’ll really find it rewarding. The Belfry is a great place to work and if you come in with the right attitude and work ethic you will love it.

  Imogen - Receptionist

  I joined The Belfry in F&B whilst at university but wanted start in the working world, so joined full time and moved to Reception in 2023. I love working here mostly because of the development opportunities and the high standards of work, as well as the closeness of the team; we all trust each other. If you are willing, professional and serious about what you want to do, then the Belfry is for you! It is positive, professional, hard work, and it’s worth it if the guests have great experiences. The Belfry Belief I connect with most is Better Together as without the support of the team on my journey I would not be where I am today. It’s the people who make it great here to work.
