Jason - Leisure Club Manager
I started at the Belfry as the Assistant Manager Leisure 4 years ago, before moving to Sales Manager to then be promoted to Leisure Club Manager. I was really lucky to be mentored by the Hotel Manager as part of the LEAD development programme and also get a lot of support from our Resort Director who is really inspirational. I love that I am able to talk a lot with the senior team who are really approachable as you don’t get that in many other places. My favourite thing about The Belfry is that this is a hotel and not just a fitness club with lots of diverse characters within the hotel and the Belfry Belief I most identify with is Better together as it is so important to be a team, support and help each other as well as Own Your Actions, taking responsibility for what you want to do. There’s a great future here for myself and the resort, and I am proud to work here and love telling people all about it.

Rachel - Fitness Professional
I joined The Belfry 9 years ago in the Leisure team as a Fitness Professional and I am still in the same department because I love it. I have done lots of training courses while working here which has expanded my current role. One of the best parts of my job is training classes and growing my confidence doing them. My favourite thing about working at the Belfry is definitely the team. I have made lifelong friends. At The Belfry, you can explore all other roles available and can get qualifications and training. If you come and work here, get involved, you can actually see what other roles are available and what else you might like. Some of the best benefits are the free staff meals and the special treats on a monthly basic like sweet carts and ice creams. I also love the vouchers for good guest reviews and employee of the month. The Belfry Belief I connect with most is Make a Difference – with my classes it’s about make the best experience to our guests. I want the members to keep coming back.
