Deborah Collins
Deborah has over 24 years of experience in the hotel industry and has been at The Belfry since 2013. Deborah started managing the resort’s portfolio of corporate clients & sport travel agents; and now focuses on MICE – Meeting, Incentive, Conference & Event agents. Deborah boasts a string of achievements including receiving an internal award for outstanding contribution to the business and contributing to a record year for The Belfry in 2023. In anticipation of the new development, Deborah and her team have been liaising with clients who are ready to book their event in The Belfry’s new event space, The Master Suite. Deborah is looking forward to exhibiting at industry shows to promote the brand and the space ahead of opening in 2025.

Darren Jones
Darren has over 23 years’ experience in hospitality sales and events, including 13 years at The Belfry. As Account Director, Darren drives bookings for large scale MICE and golf events at the resort, including events for new event space, The Masters Suite, which can accommodate over 900 people and is due to open in 2025. Darren consistently demonstrates his expertise for establishing strong relationships in the MICE and golf markets and driving business growth in corporate meetings and events sales at The Belfry. His dynamic approach to sales has seen him leading successful ventures such as securing large agency accounts with key clients in the pharmaceutical, automotive, investment banking and insurance industries.

Sarah Millington
With a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, Sarah will utilise her proactive approach, tenacious character, and keen eye for identifying how spaces can be transformed to drive association, gala dinner, and award ceremony sales for our flagship new events space, The Masters Suite. With a focus on relationship building, Sarah’s role will see her work closely with Visit England, West Midlands Growth Company and ABPCO (Association of British Professional Conference Organisers). Having spent the last seven years leading the sales team at Unique Venues Birmingham, Sarah has a strong background that makes her ideally suited to raising awareness of the capabilities of the new venue.

Charlotte Moore
Charlotte’s position as Regional Account Manager will see her identify and pursue opportunities for growth across all areas of the resort. This includes meetings and events, hotel accommodation and leisure facilities. With a comprehensive background in corporate sales, her experience leaves her well placed to generate new business and build strong relationships with Midlands-based clients. Having spent almost a decade as Resort Sales Manager at Resorts World, Charlotte brings with her extensive insight into client management and corporate relationship building strategies.

Rachel Sherrington
Since joining The Belfry Hotel & Resort in 2010, Rachel has gone from stength to strength and is our Special Events Sales Manager. Her comprehensive understanding of both operations and sales enables her to embrace a unique perspective, providing clients with a consultative approach that ensures events are delivered to the highest standards. Leading a team of 5, Rachel’s remit includes corporate banqueting, charity dinners, Christmas parties, weddings and social catering. An intrinsic part of the business development team, Rachel’s vast industry experience will be pivotal in the launch of The Belfry’s new flagship events space, The Masters Suite. She will utilise her extensive knowledge and insight to drive sales for large banqueting events and weddings, as well as continue her expert leadership of the special events team.
